Chinese Democracy. It is finally here.

So the release of the insanely infamous Guns N' Roses album, Chinese Democracy is four days away. This is an album that is 15 years in the making; an album that I've been hearing about nearly every day for the past few years from the boyfriend; an album that jokingly has made a number of the previous years "Top Ten Best Albums of the Year"-lists from various mags and websites, an album that is already legendary.

We'll be picking the album up on Sunday in Bakersfield, as we'll be down there for an early Thanksgiving Basque dinner with Nate's family. On our drive back up Highway 5 we'll be listening to the insanely over-thought vision of one Mr. Axl Rose. A guy I can't help but appreciate and enjoy now because of Nathan's endearing devotion to him, and G'n'R. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, or that I listen to their music when Nathan isn't around, but I do definitely look forward to heading into Best Buy and blasting Chinese Democracy on our drive home past the cows.

I won't be reviewing the album, or probably mentioning it at any length in the future, so I will leave you will this very funny, fitting and brilliant review of Chinese Democracy, written by Chuck Klosertman, courtesy of the Onion AV.

Yah, I made a dorky rhyme at 7 in the morning. Short show today as I'm still getting over a cold and feeling under the weather. Election Day Beet Down! Get It?

I started off my show hyped, having just voted, when some fear/bible toting crazy SCU alum called and threatened to have my show revoked in violation of FCC guidelines for me urging people to support voting NO on Proposition 8. She pissed me the FUCK off! Unfounded threats, typical religious right scare tactics. Any way, I'm better now that I called her complete bullshit out over the air.
