Treasure Island blowout!

Well, one pair of tickets for Day 1 came and went. I have to say, giving out big show tickets is a bit stressful with taking like the 5th caller and trying to do something clever to have people call. I prefer my super indie shows where I'm lucky if I get one person calling in to win tickets! :)

Sadly, this is was my last Tuesday morning radio show for now, unless some miracle occurs today. Last week I caught Deastro live at Bottom of the Hill. I dunno, I think I am a big fan of the recorded albums, but not so much the live show. A little hippy-preachy, and I got water sprayed on me--maybe I'm just getting old. :) The F U of the week goes out to Frenchies Phoenix for canceling their show, and ruining my Saturday night plans. Rarr. I look forward to catching them when they come back though in September.

This week, I am seeing Death Cab for Cutie w/ the symphony at the Hollywood Bowl. It's kind of a Birthday gift to myself. OK, playlist is below.
